Yes. Your refund amount has absolutely zero impact on what you pay. A $150 simple return is $150 whether your refund is $200 or $20,000. This is our core promise, and we will never compromise on it.

No. The prices listed on this page are the prices you pay. We don't charge extra for e-filing, direct deposit, or "complexity surcharges." If your situation requires a higher-tier service, we'll tell you upfront before we start.

Simple Individual covers W-2 income with standard deductions. If you have investments, rental property, or multi-state income, you'll need Complex Individual. If you have business income (1099, self-employed), you'll need Small Business. Book a free consultation and we'll confirm which tier fits before you pay anything.

We already price our services fairly, so we don't inflate prices to offer fake discounts. That said, if you need multiple services (e.g., bookkeeping + tax preparation + payroll), we'll put together a custom package that makes sense for your situation. Book a consultation and we'll work it out.

For tax preparation, payment is due at the time of service. For monthly services (bookkeeping, payroll), you're billed monthly. We do not offer refund-anticipation loans or deduct fees from your refund — those products are designed to extract maximum money from people who can least afford it.
